Well in September I started taking the pill. Instantly I suffered odd side affects. Compared to pre-pill, my vagina was always naturally dry before sex...before the pill, it was like a river flowing any time he was near me... after sex with the pill, my vagina burned and hurt sometimes during sex. After going to the doctor and being checked and tested for STDs including syphilis, chlymidia, herpes, they all came back negative. During the exam my doctor said I have an inflamed cervix. My P-H levels were messed up by the hormones and his semen was now irritating me. I was given cervical cream and less then 2 weeks later it was better. BUT pain continued... this time, the pain was in my lower abdomen. I had stopped taking the pill when I found out about my P-H levels and his semen. I didn't see a point in staying on the pill since I had told him it was either condom or no sex because I did not want his semen inside of me if it was going to burn... WELL, that pain that was now in my abdomen is from cysts on my ovaries. Some days are more painful then others but my doctor said in order to keep them at bay and make sure they don't become a regular thing, to get back on the pill and stay on it until I want to get pregnant. I will now say, the pill has jacked up my body. If it wasn't for me starting it, my P-H levels wouldn't have gotten jacked around and the lovely trail of problems never would have occured. Think before you start the pill, think before you have sex... your health is at risk, be it from STDs, or something very treatable and unthreatening like the cervical and cyst problems I've had.
