Pregnanacy

My girlfriend forgot to take the pill last Monday and the 2nd pill 12 hours later as she was asleep. We also had sex on the Sunday night but she had taken the pill for that evening.

We have only had sex once since then, which has been with a condom.

She now has a sore stomach and slight bleeding. Is this a side effect of forgeting to take the pill or could it be pregnancy.

hmm how long has she been on the pill? because if it hasn'tbeen too long, she could still be getting used to it, i am on the needle, now ... and i have the same thing, but.. very very LIGHT LIGHT bleeding, but.. i think its because thats when my period is suposed to be.. so it could be that.. and for thebleeding, im not sure with pregnancy you would have that, but anything is possible... and some women can have their period all through their pregnancy... weird as that sounds... it's something i've heard.. so don't hold me to it :P but i hope i kinda helped.. alittle or something

Hmmm, from what I understood, she shouldn't be pregnant, but it's not a 100%. I would recommend that you guys just in case have her take a pregnancy test. BUt it doesn't sound like she should be pregnant. The symptoms tha she has could be cause she most likely had to catch up on missed pills and it could cause potential stomachache and a light bleeding. Also, if she missed it like that, you might consider using a different method of birth-control, something that she wouldn't have to remember every day. Soemthing like a shot or a patch.
