Could she be pregnant?

i'm posting this on behalf of a friend. *(no, i really am. *i'm not the one to be worrying about right now. *lol)

my friend had sex a around a week ago or a little bit more (between one and two weeks). *she's not on the pill and the guy pulled out well before he came. *she usually uses a condom just didn't this time for whatever reason. *and while he pulled out in time, she is well aware that you can get pregnant off of precum (while chances are slimmer, she still knows you can).
she had this sex just a few days after she came off her period, which probably isn't the best time in the world to have unprotected sex.
she has not had her next period yet and probably won't for another week or so (she's kind of irregular).

so i'm asking, what are like the early signs of pregnancy other than just missing a period?
and what's the earliest you can detect one with a home pregnancy test?
her parents do not know she is sexually active so at the moment she's trying to keep this private, so i thought i'd ask here in hopes some of you could be of some help.

It's up to her whether she wants to wait or find out sooner.

There are pregnancy tests that can be accurate up to four days after fertilization. If she wants to know, she can get one of these tests. However, there is always the chance of getting a false negative, especially if it is very on in a pregnancy.

She could speak to her doctor who could do a more sensitive test for pregnancy.

She could wait it out and hope for the best.

Not many signs usually show up before the missed period. That is usually everyone's first clue that they are pregnant. However, some signs to watch for (that are also similar to preperiod symptoms) include breast tenderness, tiredness, headache, nausea and vomitting, fatigue, frequent urination, and increased vaginal discharge.

Again those, these can be signs of many other things including PMS and stress. They also do not usually appear during the first few weeks of pregnancy.
