Got a question for anyone that may be a doctor or gyno. My girlfriend and I use ortho novum 7/7/7 I use spermicide inserts and condoms. How effective would all three of these birth control methods be when used together? Some people say that I'm to paranoid that the pill is all we need but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I do not want to be a parent before I'm ready. Does anyone have any thoughts? Last night we were going at it and my condom slipped off I got it before it got sucked up in her to far. Should I be worried?

I'm not a doctor, but to quote Brandye from another thread..

And then add to that that the pill is highly effective (99%?) so the chances of pregnancy are very, very low.. assuming you're doing everything correctly.

Brandye is a jewel in the rough
If you get pregnant using all three it will be one for the record books. If you are on the pill, the reason to use condoms is either disease protection or to cover for a missed pill or use of mediccations that may affect the pill's effectiveness - mainly anit-biotics.

Brandeye,
So you feel that using all 3 methods is a pretty sure birth control method? I have all ways felt safer and more protected by using all 3 together. My women does not find it a problem in the sack either. I have met some women that thought I was going over board. But I have tried to get statistics on using all 3 of these and there seems to be none do you know where I can find this info out?
