On the weekend my boyfriend and I were messing around. He forgot to bring condoms, I'm not on birth control yet. I happened to have the morning after pill on hand. Being the heat of the moment and all, we decided to go ahead with sex anyways. He ejactulated inside of me twice. I followed the instructions of the pill exactly as I was supposed to, and I took them within less than 24 hours after the unprotected sex.

I felt pretty sick after I took the pills so I decided to sleep it off so there was less of a chance that I would throw up the pills and have complications that way. So far the side affects are normal to what I've read they should be.

So, what's the likelyhood that I am pregnant, anyone care to estimate? Has anyone had any similar experiences? Anything I should be doing or expecting?

Well, a quick search shows that the general effectiveness of the morning after pill is about 75%. Even if you were ovulating when you had the unprotected sex, I think the chances of getting pregnant are only about 1 in 4 (25%). So doing the math on that your chance of being pregnant is about 6%, but probably less.

I would say that it is not likely that you are pregnant, although if your period is late next month I would strongly urge you to go to the doctor immediately. A fetus can be severely damaged if it survives those pills and I would guess that you would be urged by them to abort the pregnancy. It can also be very dangerous for you.

Ok, thanks a bunch guys. It eases my mind a bit.

I'd definitely abort the child if I am pregnant. Not only am I not prepared to be a mother, you're right, the child could be harmed.

Once again, thanks.

Actually if i recall the morning after pill is more effective than 75%, especially considering how quick you took it. Feeling sick after is a normal side effect, but i agree with the other posts, if ur more than a few days late on your period go to the doctor.Note: this does not mean that you are pregnant, the morning after pill can throw off ur cycle.
