I am on the pill and use condoms everytime i have sex. However tonite after having sex, my boyfriend came out and the condom was still inside of me ( at end) . This would not bother me as much if i hadn't been sloppy with my pills. The past two weeks I have been very good, taking them at the same time.. but the last 3 days i was at least 40 min late taking it. On the third (today) day I was five hours late. I'm worried that i could have ovulated because my orgasms were achieved quickly and easily. I'm considering taking the morning after pill, but first would like to know the chances of being ferilized. Also worthy of note, I am to start taking my "off" pills tmr. Please respond as quickly as possible, and thanks.

40 min or so late taking the pill is not going to affect anything.

If the 5 hours overdue pill you took was your last "on pill" that shouldn't be a problem either as you were *towards the end of your cycle - (the least likely time to get pregnant).

As far as the condom goes, you don't say whether you think any semen spilled out. If you think it didn't, then again probably no problem.

Even if semen did spill out, the pill should protect you.

It doesn't sound to me like you need the Morning After Pill, but if in any doubt (or if a pregnancy would be catastrophic for you) consult your doctor for her/his specific advice in your situation.

Having said all that, although chances are very small - even the combination of pill and condom used correctly can still occasionally fail. It is one of the risks of sexual activity and you have to be able to live with that risk or avoid vaginal sex altogether. Always be aware of that and make sure you stack the odds in your favor as much as you can by using more than one form of protection (which you do) and by strict adherence to birth control instructions.
