Unhappy

Hi Im fairly new here (17y.o)..In regards to vaginal sex.. my bf and I have tryed two condoms from trojan, the extra stength and the regualr kind with just plain lube on it...but I get irritated by the lube in both and was wondering if I went or tried the non-lubricated (dry) brand from trojan and got something like astro glide if it would make a difference or if all the lube was made prudy much the same just with different names?
..and I heard the dry ones break more easily, would that change or make it less breakable with another form of lube?

another thing..how important is the resivoir(sp) tip..the non-lubed says it doesn't have it and the other two we have tried did..so does that make a big difference?

I would recomend trying diferent types of lube. It is quite possible to be alergic to some types of lube and not others. Be sure to use only non-oil-based lube, because oil breaks down latex. Unlubricated condoms break more easily only because they have no lube. Therefore, with lube added these condoms will be just as safe as pre-lubricated condoms.

I don't know of any studies in the differences between resevoir tip and no resevoir tip, but in my own experience I haven't found either to be more likely to break or noticed any other differences.

I would suggest you look at this as a chance to truely explore how you can enjoy safe sex!

Go to an adult bookstore and go to the condom section. In most stores, they have "single" condoms and lube samples.

Buy a few sample size lube brands and as many condom styles as they have available.

Then, just mix and match until you find the best combination of condom and lube!

Have fun!
