LongWoodCOL is on a distinguished road
Talking

OK I gave blood in early June and the Red Cross sent me a letter saying that I might have HIV. *The first test they ran came up positive, but the second came up negative. *They say that false positives happen, and that's why they test a second time. *I gave blood in February too and I never got back a letter, but in late April I slept with a friend of mine (girl) and we had sex three times; once with a condom and I didn't wear one the other times because we would have sex after a night of drinking and I can never cum when I drink. *I didn't think about HIV with her and I'm not accusing her of it yet. *I still don't know if I have it. *But I could use some input from y'all ASAP!!!! *Thanks

Clearly you should go to a clinic for anoyomous (sp) HIV test. HIV may not show up for up to 6 months from the date of your infection. Do NOT get the swab test, get the full blood test. It will take a couple weeks to get the results!

Without regard to your orientation, all sexualy active adults who are not in a monogamous sexual relationship should have HIV tests every 6 months!

Till then you should not engage in unprotected sex again! You should also tell the gal you had sex with to get tested as well!

It's a tough situation (been there, done that), but u have to own up to your responsibilities!

The first thing you should do is go to the doctor and find out for sure whether you have it or not. Go now, don't sit and agonize over it!

In the meantime, DO NOT have unprotected sex with anyone else and inform them of the possibility beforehand (even with a condom there is a risk of transmitting an STD).

Also, don't start accusing anyone of anything until you know for sure what your status is. If you may not know for sure for some time then (as Rawbob says) you should let the girl know so that she can act accordingly. Good luck!
