The foreskin will usually be pulled back to some extent of its own accord when the penis is erect, but it doesn't have to pulled down to the extreme.
In any case a dollop of lubricant (or spermicide) in the condom will help it go on easier and smoother and provides a nicer, more natural feeling. |

Most boys are born with a membrane conecting the foreskin to the head. This membrane usually disapears by adulthood, but in some cases it does not. You may have a foreskin that is still attached to the head, or it may simply be too tight. I believe both problems can be fixed fairly easily by a doctor.
My boyfriend's foreskin is still attached, but he can and does use condoms. However, he does say that the membrane makes sex with a condom somewhat painful. |

Oh, and to answer your question about what doctors do, I believe treating a tight foreskin would involve simply stretching the foreskin. If the foreskin is still attached, it will require minor surgery to remove the membrane.

What we doctors do is give a local anasthetic, cut a little bit with a scalpel and stitch you up. You can either get this nipped or go ahead and get a circumcision. The circumcision will take a little longer to heal. You must do something because that is not going to cure itself.
See a doctor. This is no big deal

As I said before, most boys are born with attatched foreskins, but the membrane connecting the foreskin to the head usually disapears by adulthood. This is probably what happened to you, Dude. If a man reaches adulthood without the membrane disapearing, I believe the only solution is to see a doctor.
