Me and my g/f had sex on wednesday morning the 4th and i think the condom may have broken, because it felt very wet down there when I pulled out. I told her to immedialty go wash out her vagina her soap and water, but that was about 5 minutes later. Do you think she may get pregnant??? I forgot to mention that I was drunk at the time. Would that have to do with the sperm at all???

In another one of my posts I explained that me and my g/f had an accident, and I was just curious as to wether or not soap and water rinsing in the vagina is effective in killing sperm?

You think the condom may have broken? *Why didn't you check it for tears afterward? *Fish it out of the trash if you have to! *If the only reason you think it broke was from the wetness, it is likely that it was just her natural lubrication.

No. *If semen got inside her, the only things she can do is get a morning after pill or wait and hope for the best. She should not use soap inside her vagina in the first place, since it can dry out the mucas membrane and cause irritation. *

Your girlfriend should consider seeing a doctor about the morning after pill. *I understand that it has unpleasent side effects, so please try to determine whether or not the condom actually broke before she goes. *Here is a link to information on the morning after pill:

Having sex using a condom alone is only 85% effective, mostly because people don't use them correctly. Having sex using only a condom while you are drunk (and therefore impaired) is likely to lower it's effectiveness much further still. If you play with fire, eventually you will get burnt!

Using an applicator full of spermicide AND a condom together is good advice for anyone who can not risk any chance of pregnancy. Either improve your protection or don't get drunk before sex, or preferably both!

Like girlygirl says, if you think she might have gotten sperm in her, get her to the doc now for the Morning-after Pill.

... And learn from this lesson before you have to pay the price!

Honey, a speedy sperm can do its job in seconds. Douching has no contraceptive value. Drunkenness is irrelevant but thinking the condom broke (without knowing) is just plain dumb.

Agreed, drunkenness is irrelevant to the effectiveness of sperm impregnating; however, it is not irrelevant to impairing your judgement to the point that you are not using your condom correctly.

A condom is theoretically about 95% effective. In practice it is closer to 85% - most of that difference is due to incorrect use. Impaired ability when using a condom will certainly reduce your chances of it being an effective birth control!
