Well Sam there is always a chance with everything and pulling out isn't one of the greatest methods. Sometime the male has a pre-ejaculation which does contain some sperm. So I would say to use a condom or some other kind of protection other than pulling out. Have Fun!!!

Vaginal jelly is a spermicidal jelly such Ortho Gynol, Gynol II or K-Y Plus. Foams, suppositories, films are also available. The point is, when pregnancy would be a really big problem, condom on the guy with spermicidal protection in the vagina are both indicated.
Please see my looonng post on the straight scoop. |

I had sexual intercourse with my girlfriend twice in a row. In my first orgasm, I withdrew perfectly... and I dried my penis off sperm. Some 30 minutes later, we engaged in another sexual intercourse... I am wondering if there is a risk of pregnancy, having dried my penis from sperm and went inside her again... I am sure it was dry, but does dry sperm (in case some was left) remain healthy???
Is my question weird? * (this post was merged into this existing topic by the moderator) |

Withdrawal isn't a very effective way to go about avoiding pregnancy. In fact, it's the least effective way.
eyekon, I have no answer for your question. Sorry.

No, sperm does not live after it is dry. However, you can't be sure that all of the sperm were dead. It is quite likely that there were still living sperm inside your urethra. There may even have been some in there the first time you had sex. If it has been less than 72 hours since you had sex, your girlfriend should look into the morning after pill. In the future, use a safer form of birth control. You can find out about various forms of birth control here:
