ok so last thursday i bought a box of preg. testers with two in them. that day she used one and it showed up as negative. then i decided for her to wait until sunday(jan. 26) morning to take the other one, it also came up as negative. still she hasn't had her period yet. the last time we had sex was on jan. 14. if she was pregnant, isn't it enough time for the preg. tester to pick it up? should i still be worried?

Well, if the last time you had sex was Jan 14th, it should be showing up on a Preg test by now (if she is pregnant). However, home preg tests are not always 100% reliable, especially if not carried out exactly per instructions.

You also mention her periods are erratic anyway. This is not unusual in girls/young women.

The combination of these 2 factors (and the other comments you made in your 1st post indicate she is PROBABLY not pregnant).

In any case, if her periods are this erratic she should probably see her doctor for a checkup; the doc will also be able to put your minds at rest (one way or the other) re whether she is pregnant or not.

The next time you two get the urge, remember this. Every sexually active woman has this same experience every month. With maturity, it is tolerable but it can certainly mess up the happy teen years to spend half your life worrying.

Condom on you and spermicide in her. Then you are mostly safe.

i know i keep asking this question various time, but i will admit, yes i am worried. i was very ready when i first had sex and i do not regret it. what worries me is the fact that my periods are always iregular usually by a week late or more. i have my exams soon and i know that is stressing me out. iv been having on and of stomach pains for a week? and i dont know why and im so scared. we did use a condom and i do know they are not 100 percent. please help me.

Stress can do a lot to you. Including irregular periods and stomach pains. I know that everytime I get stressed out, I get stomach pains. Its not abnormal. I would suggest if it happens all the time with the stomach pains to go see a doctor. But with the pregnancy, I would wait a couple of days to a week then get a pregnancy test and go from there.

thankyou, but if i take a pregnancy test i would be so scared, i just wouldnt know what to do except for the fact that i would want an abortion, but wouldn't be able to afford it???
