Was curious if anyone had input on the best positions to be in to allow for clitoral stimulation during sex. Basically I find the standard missionary position a bit too awkward on a flat surface (bed) because I need my arms to hold myself up, etc.
Missionary but with her legs up on my shoulders (which also allows deep penetration) seems to afford me better access, but it's pretty dependant on the surface again. Entering from behind with her on her knees seems like it would be ideal, does anyone else have experience or advice in this?

I don't know, I've always found it really difficult to stimulate her clit when I was facing her, and woman on top is generally always moving up and down without my control and so it's really hard to stay on that area for me. At least with man on top, though I have difficulties balancing and maintaining focus, I can at least control the thrusting.
That's why I'm thinking a position from behind may be best. Spooning would be ideal if she really lifted her one leg, you could lay your arm across her nicely. Unfortunately the sex may be a bit too intimate, slow, romantic sex always makes me orgasm a lot faster than your basic thrusting package :)

Don't get me wrong, I love a woman on top, but I know that when it comes to sex and someone gets especially turned on for a moment they will thrust faster for a second, and if I'm not the one thrusting I'd be sliding off the clitoral area.
I remember one of the best times was when she was on the edge of a rather high bed, with me standing. I was afforded easy and comfortable access with her legs on my shoulders. Unfortunately with sex being as spontaneous as it is, I can never guarantee I'll have a higher surface. I'll definately have to try spooning on flat low surfaces though.
