As I see it, any position in which your mouth can touch her vaginal opening. Come on! an average tongue probably extends into the air maybe 2" at most--so, how is this length considered "deep"?

In my guestimation, what your girlfriend finds enjoyable is the involvement of the many sensitive nerve endings in and surrounding the vaginal opening when your pubic mound rubs and gyrates against her body. In addition, is the sense of fullness she enjoys from having her vagina filled.
If you want to please her orally, concentrate on the those very sensitive nerves that become reactive after she has become very highly aroused.

There are no nerve endings in the vagina. Given the normal tongue, you cannot get deep enough to make much difference. The muscles surrounding the vaginal entrance do like stimulation. Use your tonge on the labia and clitoris and add a finger the "massage" the vaginal sphincters.
