BC and no condom =(

Hey guys.... my girfriend just started using the BC pill again at the beginning of the month.. her perscirption ran out about a month or so ago, so we had to wait..... but we've always used condoms.. but for some reason, we didn't use one two nights ago... and I "went" in her, and again tonite...  I know there is still that 1 % risk, but do you guys think we could've hit the mark?  She is supposed to start her period next week.... so hopefully it comes.  Thanks for the help guys and gals.

yeah the pill helps w/ cramps and other symptoms.
if she is bleeding you guys are ok.
just be glad you made it ok this time and to be more careful.

Thanks alot guys nad gals.  We think she's starting on her period tonight, it's just not as heavy as normal yet.... but it's there significantly.  So, we're just gonna wait til tomorrow and see how it is.  Thanks again.

*Next day* She says that it's heavier today than it was yesterday, but she is saying that she's not as crampy as she normally is? Is that bad, or is it just the pills doing that (with the cramps?)

Hey man, i'm kinda in your situation as you'll see from my topics, and one thing we've learned is NOT to stress, because that makes a period come late, and now my girlfriend and I are worrying sick because it's really late, but tests have said no.

Take the test as soon as you can, then take another maybe a few days to a week later. Most of them now seem to have to be taken from the day her period is meant to have started...if it hasn't came, which if you guys are worrying, it won't have. You need to try and forget about it, i know it's hard and you won't thank me for that advice, but from being in that sort of situation (Would never have sex without a condom atleast), i've learned that worrying makes it alot worse both physically and phsychologically (Can't spell, its 11am).

Try to relax.

kev.

OK... one more question.... how long should we wait if we were to take a home pregnancy test? She says her period is supposed to come this Thrusday, but I've heard that the pill kinda makes the schedule a lil wacky... (i.e. making it come earlier)... but just wanted to kno how long to wait for a test... Thanks. Still saying prayers here.

Based on what you said, since you did "cum" in her 2 times this month, and she was just back on her first cycle of pills, you have a 50/50 chance of getting pregnant. SO....watch the calendar and say a prayer!

I know no one may no the answer to this question... but how big is the possibility? Are we stressing ourselves out too much and freaking each other out over noting or something so small.. or is it really that big of a problem? Thanks.

im not sure the numbers but yes its possible
like i said once you are off of the pill for a month or whatever and you start taking it again...doctors advise you use a backup method for that first month until the body gets back on its own hormonal schedule. the pamphlet inside the pill says to use a back up for a week but my doctor said thats kind of risky and she told me to wait a month. i was so paranoid i waited 3 months before i let my b/f cum inside me..lol.
now if she started the first of this month she's only been on it for 20 days. that makes her ok for waiting a week but not for waiting a month.
like wiseman said you'll just have to sweat this one out and hope for the best and be more careful next time.
even if you had sex when normally she wouldn't be ovulating you can never tell since she wasn't on the pill for a month. that could have made her cycle all wacky.

Absolute possibility. The pill works because it maintains a consistant hormone balance. If they are not taken as prescribed, effectiveness is reduced. You're gonna have to sweat out the next week or so. Learn from this mistake.

I kno that the pill doesn't stop the transferring of STD's, but we've both been checked. She expalined the "period" cycle to me somewut... and from wut i understand, the second week is the time of ovulation... at least from wut i dechipered. But yea, I kno that the pill is only 99% effective against pregnancy, but she had said b4, with her ex.... that when she was on the pill, they never used a condom and she never got preg..... so that's kind of reassuring... i guess she's not super fertile... lol... thanks again

If I understand your question correctly, then she has been on the pill since the first of Feb. With no condom, I'd say she falls in the possible but not probable category. If you want to be even more certain of not getting pregnant, then you keep using the condoms.

I'll once again point out that the pill does nothing against any possible STD infection.

im confused! she started using BC at the beginning of this month but her prescription ran out a month ago
eh doesn't make sense. usually when you go get a script its either for 3, 6, even 12 months worth of pills.

yes normally ovulation occurs at a certain time but since she was only on the pill for a month who's to say when it happened. since her body was getting used to the hormones, they recommended once you start a pack the first time to use a back up method ( condoms..etc.)
once you decide to be on the pill you should never let your script run out and go w/out it for a month or so. it just makes your body all wacky plus once you get your script filled again you have to do the whole..wait a month...thing over again b/c its like you had never been on it.
its not good for a girl's body.
what would make you guys thing it was ok for you to cum inside her not once but twice???

What i meatn was... her perscription ran out at the end of december and her doctor wouldn't call it back in.. so she was off of it for the month of january and jsut got back on them at the first of this month... Yes, i kno it was a stupid move to cum inside of her twice... but is it really possible that she could be pregnant?
