me n my bf were thinkin of having a bath together tomorrow or some time soon...depending. what do ppl normally do when they bath together? just lie at opposite ends or what? could i lie on top of him in the bath (not so we r having sex or nething) and not get pregnant? presumably there isn't a risk without penetration coz the sperm would get killed in a warm bath wouldn't they? also is it a bad idea to get fingered in the bath?...i read on here on a topic or something that it wasn't a good idea...especially if it's soapy or bubble-bath-y water... so replies would be greatly appreciated. I tried a shower with my girlfriend...first time. It wasn't what I expected...we've had sex before, but never had a shower together. She didn't seem the least bit interested in washing each other or having fun. But then again, I didn't either. Though I thought it would be fun, I didn't want to make her uncomfortable, and I think she was thinking the same. I guess from my experiences the best thing for that is talking about it, but timing is everything.

we aren't at the stage of sex yet...he's a very loving bf so he wudnt push me into nething and i wudnt let him to be honest. the bath idea was more of a romantic rather than sexual idea, but i understand how the circumstances could provoke unprotected sex - thnx wallyllama. luckily im mature and sensible not to do that whatever he's feeling!

The biggest hazard with this (or any intense sexual activity) is that your hormones will overtake your brain and body and you'll "decide" to have unprotected sex. It's a big risk; you are playing with fire. I can just see the thread now "But he only slipped in for a second while we..."
If you are going to take the risk, there are some playful options that might include one of you staying out of the tub and bathing the other... to my knowledge and in my experience the dangers from fingering in the tub are minimal to non-existent.
You might, however, ask yourself whether or not you should both be increasing the sexual intensity (and opportunity) of a relationship that doesn't include sex. I'm not encouraging the sex nor am I discouraging it: merely suggesting you think about it.

Wally's right about the giving into temptation! As long as there is no penetration, you can enjoy a hot bath togther, and if your bf happens to cum, you have no worries of the sperm living in the bathwater and getting you pregnant.
In fact, they will most liekly die immediatly since they need a very SPECIFIC kind of environment in which to live.
If you DO want to have sex in the bath and are using condoms, its CRUCIAL that you use a SILICONE based lubricant...as any water-based lube will disappear quickly and the lack of lubricant will make sex uncomfortable for the young lady!
Actually..most times my partner and i take a bath togther..we enjoy using lufa spongeing each other....especially on the back......but don't underestimate the fun of bathing each other...washing each other's hair, etc!
hopefully you have one of the bigger sized baths. the ones they make these days can barely be called baths anymore, and fitting two people in them is damn near impossible. but you can either sit facing each other (if the faucet isn't in the way). or you can sit with you in his arms facing away from him. as for worrying about getting pregnant or the fingering, i am not in any way through experience or knowledge qualified to answer that.
