Why do you have to avoid hitting it? Occasionally women have medical conditions which make the cervix sensitive and therefore certain types of intercourse can be painful. Otherwise there is nothing to worry about. A woman's vagina is meant to be penetrated by a penis and no special direction is needed. Be sensitive to your partner and as long as she is happy do what comes naturally.
The cervix, by the way is well up inside the vagina. If she is virgin or near virgin her vagina will likely be tight and reaching a finger far enough inside to touch her cervix will be quite difficult. Your penis will likely reach it unless you are very short but with all the lubrication found in a young excited pussy it is quite likely everything will be so slippery inside you won't feel it.

WRONG. WRONG. This is just wrong.
If you cannot follow the diagrams of the female reproductive system, forget about it. You really do not have to worry about it. Just practice with each other and you will learn.
Take your erect penis and slam the head of it, full steam, into a brick wall.
That's why!
The cervix is Bone, babycakes! No 'medical condition' required - it always hurts if you ram it.
Think down when in the male superior position and think up when coming in from behind.

Thanks, Im still a bit confused about this. When I fuck from behind shouldn't I aim down to get contact with the G spot? And Aim up when Im on top, for the same reason?
Thanks!!!
the G-Spot is not the point of this position - the posterior fornix is. If you go for the G-Spot when cloming in from behind, you will most likely hit or rip something unless you focus on 'up'.

the cervix isnt bone. its an opening leading to the uterus. its cant be bone because during labor and delivery the cervix thins and opens, called effacing and dilating.
it hurts because thats a sensitive area, its not meant to be used during sex. the penis usually doesnt touch it but if the uterus is tilted down or the girl has a "low cervix" then it hurts more often. if she says it hurts try a different angle or position.
The cervix is an annular muscle (think American donut) that is the neck of the uterus protruding into the vagina. In the center is an opening called the cervical os. Menstrual fluid and babies exit the os and sperm enters. During most of the month, the os is plugged with mucous. This plug is released before ovulation and menstruation.
A penis in a vagina is hardly "aimed." It just goes where its shape takes it. Incidental bumping of the cervix occurs and is not usually a problem. Occasinionally, there will be a direct impact that can be painful. I am certain some penis-vagina combinations make this a bit more common and care needs to be taken. In most cases it is a non-issue with the penis. The vagina elongates and widens during sexual arousal giving plenty of room for the desired action.
Actually a woman's pelvis is taken apart during childrbirth. Having had two children, yeah - tell me about it. The cervix is just part of this process and, tough as it is, it might as well be bone when some guy does hit it.
As I have discovered to my cost.
And a stiff penis can be 'aimed' - all a man needs is practice. If he curves upward, or whatever, he needs to adapt the way he holds his body to suit himself to her. Guys it is possible to learn how to 'know' where you are in relation to her when inside of her. Once again, practice preferrably with a woman who will tell you where you are.
