I will be 40 soon and just recently become more engaged in sex. My husband and I have always had a wonderful active sex life but I just seem way more into it now. I'm starting to appreciate more in our sex life.
As far as masturbation, I do that with my husband. He loves it. That way I get what I want and he's turned on fully to watch! Do I ever masturbate when he's not around - sure. If I'm in the mood and he's not around - just get it done and over with.
Perhaps what works for her - she's not getting with you. And maybe she's not comfortable enough to tell you what works for her. I was like that till about 5 years ago or so. I use to think my husband would think I was a weirdo because it was so easy for him and if he knew what I had to go through to reach orgasm it would be a hassle or just odd. Garden, I am so glad you said what you did. I was talking to my boyfriend the other night on the phone and he talked for a couple of hours about how he wanted to know everything I wanted and he wanted to me really "let go".
