Anyone have any suggestions for some anal toys? We have had anal several times, but now we are thinking about getting some, but I'd like to hear from satisfied customers to know which direction to go :) Beads, plugs?

Anal Toys for Beginners
If you are new to anal sex then start small. Do not use a dildo that is too large to start with. I have been receiving anal sex for years and can now take a rather large diameter. I often wear butt plugs.
They make sets of butt plugs - they come in sets of threes. One is very small, one is medium sized and one is larger. It allows you to start off small and work your way up to the larger ones. As shaved bi said, start out with the small one, and after your ass becomes accustomed to that, take it out and replace it with the medium sized one, etc.
Caitlain, do you have a specific set with a name, or are they generally like that?
I agree, start small. A small SILICONE butt plug is perfect. Get only silicone toys, they're very smooth, easy to clean and are non porous. They also have flared bottoms so they can't accidently slip all the way in. Use plenty of lube and GO SLOW.

I don't, but you can buy them from just about any place online in the sets of three.
Tantus makes great quality silicone toys, I would look for something by them. They are a bit more, but they boast that with proper care, their toys last a lifetime. I have some Tantus products, and I'm extremely happy with them. You can visit the place I shop at, they can probably get you what you want. www.littlepleasures.org I also found some phthalate free plugs from Doc Johnson that are very pretty and probably cost less than the Tantus stuff. Here on page 11, the Lavender and Blue ones.

You can always use dildos for anal play too, but I suggest getting ready for them by using something smaller or a plug. Make sure though that the dildo has a flanged base, or balls, so it doesnt get stuck... would suck to go to the doc for that!

No, it's not worth it. Too risky IMHO. Get a real anal toy. Silicone. Start with a small butt plug and use either a drug store brand lubricating jelly or Astroglide.
I love anal but I never found much pleasure in anal toys. I guess I just prefer the feel of a flesh and blood penis in me. I dunno toys never quite did it for me
