I have come to enjoy playing with toys with my wife. I have now bought my wife a strap on so we can play in the future. I have noticed that when a toy is partially inserted it hits a very tight area. I have noticed some light pain when trying to pass the point. Is this a normal situation? I was wondering if it is an issue with my body or is this reference to having a cheery popped.

Assuming you are using a lot of lube, when she enters your anus bear down as though you are trying to pass feces. This reflex loosens the spincter muscles so that you avoid that tension. It may take a couple of time to master, so try it on each other until you are both comfortable. You can even develop coaching techniques for each other.:p
Please read the articles listed in the Index found at the top of the main screen, including this one that should prove helpful:

it does hurt but over time it can pass. lots of lube and take your time getting in.
