The key is to condition the anus and work up to a dildo or penis by first teasing the exterior, then relaxing the sphincters, then using a finger prior to moving on.

Another key is to make sure the lubrication is distributed along the sphincters by wiggling the finger around. This will also build arousal, excitement, and, expectation.

The next key is to use pressure! Never poke, jab, or shove a finger, toy, or penis into the anus.

Lastly, the person being penetrated should relax the sphincters. You can also bear down and this will cause the anus to pucker making entry easier.
