Anal play question

Am very new here but it's nice to see that I am "normal" and I have no fear in posting this question on this board.

I have for sometime now been experimenting with anal play (to myself). I tried using a dildo recently, approx 6 inch long. I have no issues in putting it in but it will only go so far before it appears to hit something which causes a slight pain. I understand that the further along the rectal canal you go you will come to a natural bend in the colon, maybe its that. My question is does anyone else have this issue, or had it...and how to overcome it. Do I need to position myself differently?

I wonder this as I also recently had a sigmoidoscopy for other reasons upon where a full 20 inches of tubing was inserted and I watched it on camera. This caused no pain at all (until she filled me with air to open the colon canal). But then I spent the next half hour with wind in a waiting room which was the most funniest moment of my life I must say.

I enjoy anal play and wish to enter fully with no problems. I clean myself out first by douche so I know its not faeces that's causing the issue.

Any ideas welcome

First of all the sigmoidoscopy was with a flexible tube that can go around that bend that you are hitting. There is a normal bend that is best not to push against with a rigid dildo.

You are safer with something that will give you pleasure by moving it in and out to a distance of the length of your index finger.

> I enjoy anal play and wish to enter fully with no problems.

Please define "fully". That being the six inches of the dildo? All the way up to the stomach? What? I understand about having a natural curiosity about our body, especially as a post pubescent teenager. I remember sticking long unfolded bobby pins into my urethra once upon a time.

> Do I need to position myself differently?

No. The reason the doctor's instrument works is because it is articulated. You run the very good possibility of injuring yourself by accidentally puncturing the lining of the colon/intestine so I urge that you go no further than that--or your pointer finger. Be content with knowing what that part of your body is like from illustrations, and, be more than content titillating the nerves of the Prostate gland, as well as the sensitive nerve endings outside/inside the anus and along the sphincters.

Learn how to enjoy the pleasurable sensations these nerves provide and how to incorporate these actions into your self pleasuring in order to augment your sexual arousal and climax. Stimulating these sensitive nerves after becoming very highly aroused will greatly intensify your pleasure as well as to help trigger an elusive orgasm.

Thanks for getting back so quickly.

My reason for asking is because I recently purchased a prostate aneros toy which when inserted seems to do nothing. I followed the instructions by relaxing and giving myself a good few hours to test it out. I cannot feel my prostate gland by using my fingers no matter how hard I search.

However I can feel something when I insert a flexible piece of plastic with a slight bend to it and put a little pressure on it. I somewhat pre-cum and it feels great but I'm no doctor and I would say that "my own" prostate gland is slightly higher than what the diagrams suggest it is...which every website I visit states its about 1 to 2 inches in. Mine is more like 3 to 4 inches in. I am always very careful with anal play and I am fully aware of the dangers involved in tearing.

I was more curious as just lately I have seen some obscene internet clips with both male and female using very long (at least 12 inches) dildos sliding them all the way into their anus, with no problems. This is why I wondered what it was I could be hitting, unless they just push past that spot and continue up into the colon?

I did see a clip last month of a female inserting her entire arm up a males backside, I could even see his stomach wall being pushed against so god knows where the arm was going. I'm not into trying that one bit but was just after a painless way of my anus accepting a dildo with no problems.

As for the aneros I purchased, I was disappointed in spending the money to find it would not hit the same spot I hit when I use this piece of plastic. Maybe I should try a longer one if there is one , maybe not everyones prostate gland is in the general same position, but its not something you generally ask the doc on a visit....I rely on websites such as this with peoples experiences to relay such information.

Have you read this article:

Even though you have not yet felt your prostate, do you know where to find it? "The prostate gland is located about two inches inside and along the front wall just beneath the lining. It feels like a small walnut-shaped protuberance or bulge."

I always recommend waiting to stimulate the nerves of the anus (outside and inside) as well as the prostate after raising your level of arousal to nearly its peak. All of these sensitive nerves turn on and become very reactive at this time. As soon as you rub the spot you will have no doubt that you've located the gland.

It is about 2" inside along the anterior (front) wall. Locate it as noted, above.

My guess is that if you go searching when you are fully aroused, you will find it where it is reported to be.

As for video clips and X-rated movies. The ol' adage applies: "You can't believe everything you see...."

Forget the dildo and simply use a finger. Fingers are much more dexterous.
