Alcohol can affect a person's performance, especially when the blood alcohol level goes above 0.09. If your BAL is this high you most likely will find it difficult to obtain or sustain an erection.

Yes and yes.

First, the answer is yes because regular masturbation can keep libido low(er) than it would ordinarily be. Second, the answer is yes because interest in sex declines for a while immediately after a climax. These answers require some qualification, however. Masturbating shortly before intending to make love will often help slow a guy down giving him somewhat better control over his responses, particularly as he approaches another orgasm. Subsequent orgasms within a day are usually more difficult to trigger than previous ones. This being the case, it would seem that a prudent guy would want to manage his desire for pleasure with the need to reduce stress and tension by not going overboard and too near the time intimacy is planned.

Yes Brandye it is 100% wrong that it is a sexual stimulant, but what about people who use a small glass of wine (not an entire bottle so their totally ****faced drunk) to help "loosen up" a bit. Sure it doesnt make you more stimulated, but it does lower inhibitions, and make you more "free" in bed.

It depends on how old you are. An 18 year old up to 26 year old is the highest sex charge for a male. Whereas, for a female is aro8ind her 30's (I believe, correct me if I am wrong). I am 57 years old and my wife is 43. We have a great sex life and love a threesome now and then. As my wife is not bi-curious, she preferes two men. We are both straight. When we have a threesome, usally when drinking, we get charged the most. If the other guy is in his 40's or older, he only lasts for a while. Whereas if the guy is much younger, say 22 to 28, with just as much booze in his system, he will go all night.

Do you drink a lot all the time? or just a little here or there, or is it a case of you guys totally ****faced cant remember the day before sorta thing, cuz that can affect you too. i know that alcohol can give guys problems "geting it up"
my guy says he's always had problems maintaining a constant erection, and i tell him its because of his drinking (he's either an alcoholic or pretty close to it...) and his response was that his doctor told him that it only applies if you are actually drunk.

is that true, or can excessive drinking lead to erection problems even while not drunk?

I should probably do some research before posting my theory, but I wonder if one of the problems with getting/maintaining an erection is due to the fact that alcohol thins the blood. I would think that thinner blood would seep back out of the vessels easier.

Eminatic....your man is wrong....a little alcohol is okay to "loosen" someone up but the more there is the worse it gets...alcohol numbs the body, dulls the sense, and screws with your head...I mean had some surgery done and I was taking vicadin...I was horny so I started masturbating and I kept falling asleep lol, I just had a lot of trouble feeling it and stuff (yes not the same but it still is similar they are both downers)

Machine...maybe....but at the same time it does dull your sense....watch the movie drunken master....alcohol helps raise the pain threshold cuz it numbs your body...well if you cant feel pain as much your probably cant feel your girlfriend as much either.
