And the reason why is: men over 40 do NOT use condoms.
They need the additional stimulation and feel to be able to maintain their erections. Nature played a dirty trick on men, before 40 they're all penis and no skill; after 40 they're all skill and "somewhat jaded"; just when a woman's engines have revved up to maximum.

Back to the geriatric stuff: At birth the sex ratio is 103, meaning that there are 103 male births for every 100 female births. It is all downhill from there for men! Past the age of 50 there are simply not enough men to go around and women of (ahem) a certain age seem to be willing to share penis's! The other adaptation about which I have seen no hard data is the number of aging women who decide they are bi-.

I've been curious how safe swinging groups in general are. In my experience, people aren't very trustworthy when it comes to something they lust for, be it sex, money, or power, nor do they regularly make good decisions regarding them. Given the incubation period of many stds before they show up on tests, it seems very likely to me to catch things like HPV when one member of a group gets careless with one person(not necessarily in that group) then spreads it to the rest at a party who spread it more through things that many people don't use condoms for like oral before it shows up on anyone's test. I understand that many are going to be very careful but it seems like it'd just be a matter of time before one person makes a mistake that costs everyone else.
I can only speak for myself, and my men; we use condoms religiously and are tested every 6 months for everything. We use condoms as part of foreplay actually and guys are usually quite pleased when I tell them they need to use a larger size than the ones they currently have with them. Most of us have been friends for years.
From what I have seen thus far, that is how most Lifestyle people have their fun; in known groups of long-term friends.
