Basically i have been going out with this girl for a few months, ready to have sex and everything. I was goin down on her the other day and she seemed to have a white kind of mucus coming from inside her.

The discharge is normal unless it's very foul smelling or itching. During several points in a woman's cycle the thickness/consistency/color will vary. Much also depends on good hygiene; it may help if she tidy's up before you two get it going.
Do a search on smegma. We are all subject to it and it is perfectly normal unless, as pointed out, there is a foul odor. It is a major reason most of us do a bit of touching up before getting down to business.
Its wasnt foul smellin really, there was a scent you could say but not totally foul.
OK, then it is most likely smegma. Men develop it under the foreskin and women around the clitoral hood. We have a broader area for it to develop and need to keep clean.
