The two replies are not 100% true. There have been some cases reported where "long-term" lovers have got sex toys, then the female has gone of "real" sex to opt for the sex toy. But, it's very rare.

Most the time, people just find themselfs wanting to buy more and more. I wouldnt let the fear of going off sex put me off buying a sex toy or two.

Hell, you may choose a toy over your guy if you are never able to cum with him. But the others are right in the fact that nothing can replace human contact. Your toy can't kiss, hug, etc.. And you can use toys with your man. That can be a good kind of addiction!

No, sex toys aren't addictive. You can't replace a live person to have sex with. You need the human contact.

Thats not to say sex toys for some can be a whole lot of fun. I get lots of pleasure out of mine. They are wonderful for using during foreplay and for those times your alone.

well, i don't have that problem.
a toy will never replace the presence (pretend i can spell) of my guy or any guy for that matter.
i know everyone is different but personally, i do not get pleasure out of a toy. it does nothing for me other than losen me up so to speak, if even that sometimes. i need someone present to turn me on like i need to be turned on.

i do however has this addiction to buying them.
just about everytime i go to an online sex toy store, i wind up buying something...whether it's a toy or lingerie or lube or whatever. it's gonna happen, even if i don't wind up using them that much.
i need to stop doing that. lol.
