There are a lot of different ways teens today can get information regarding sex, and multiple ways to educate themselves.
I totally agree, the sexual education is basically "the man sticks the penis into the woman's vagina..." and I think most people by the time sex ed does come around know that.
I think a reliable online resource like this is actually a great place for teens today to find out about sex! Not a preachy website saying "Don't do this" and "Don't do that" but one that says, "This is how it is, no matter what."
Going to the library or Borders or something and reading up about it is a great way to find specifics out too. That is how I first started learning.
Plus, I think, although it may not be a fully reliable source, other teens, who have had some amount of experience, could probably be good sources too.
Hope I gave you some newer ideas... or at least ones people haven't said yet!
