There are different ways to do a 69. Him on his back and you on top or the other way around. This is great for lots of people. For me I always found the angles harder.
Or my favorite is on our sides. I like to lay a little on my right side and he turns the other way on his side. That frees me to move my head and use my hands much more comfortably and for him too.
Also remember that doing a 69 doesn't have to mean your both doing each other always at the same time. If he gets you really going its ok to stop doing him and enjoy and for him to do the same. The important thing is to just have fun and find out what works for you both. Communicate and give feedback to each other.
