More often than not, we hear about the opposite need in which an oversexed guy needs/wants sex frequently (read: much more frequently than his partner). In your situation, J.J., this is probably a hormone driven response; however, please do rule out this needy behavior as insecurity or having a lacking of emotional satisfaction within your relationship.

For the first example, the recommendation often given women is to consider satisfying his needs by "servicing" him without intercourse, and without being turned on to any great degree herself. Turnabout is fair play. See if this approach works with her; however, having said that, please understand that you must address her emotional needs in addition to her physical need.

This may be a phase that will balance itself again, although, if it does not, perhaps she should discuss this with her doctor.
