Before I address the issue of the lubrication, other things need to be mentioned. First off, the lubrication on a condom is never sufficient in situations when lubrication is needed. The same thing can be said of the spermicide that some condoms feature; it just isn't enough. Secondly, lubrication is not a condom's primary purpose. You should be using two forms of contraceptives every time you have sex, condom included (the condom also helps protect against infection). In the case of anal sex, condoms also prevent fecal matter from entering your urethra and giving you a UTI. Thirdly, why don't you just buy your lube instead of improvising? Are you embarrassed? Are you young? My point is, if you can't afford to buy, or are uncomfortable buying lubricants, you are probably not ready to be sexually active. It's just irresponsible.

I highly recommend you go to the Index and read up so that you can be more informed about sex, especially anal sex, before you go blundering on ahead.

Now, that all being said...
Commercial "personal" lubricants are widely available. I recommend you forget about your alternatives and buy some. I personally dislike all KY products, but a lot of the members here frequently recommend Astroglide. As a rule of thumb, stay away from lubes with additives that give warming, tingling, or any other effects, as they may be too intense or even irritating for some people. If they are that appealing to you, test them out with your partner before you use them.
Some general info for H2O lubes:
- Typically much cheaper than silicone-based lubes
- Some brands get really tacky when they start to dry up (e.g. KY)
- Depending on the lube, can feel more viscous than silicone-based lubes
- When they dry up, they can be "reactivated" by spritzing a little bit of water on them, but remember to lubricate generously
General info on silicone-based lubes:
- They are waterproof, and by extension, are also harder to wash off
- They are veeeeeerrrrryy slick
