Excuse me dlb, but the Battenburgs and Prince Philip are only half of the equation and if you will recall the Bowes-Lyons are Scots. Having done a lot of genealogy, don't ask, I can confidently state that German and Greek are the LEAST of their bloodline. A great many of our ancestors just would not or could not stay home.
