Look around by doing a search on anal. You will find many cautionary notes (mostly by me) on anal. In short, the anus is a one-way valve designed to let stuff out but seal against anything entering. The skin around the anus and the tissue of the rectum is quite unlike the vagina. The vaginal walls are 40 cells thick and it stretches quite handily. The muscles at the entrance to the vagina are similarly stretchable. The rectum walls are one cell thick and can tear rather than stretch.
In the last week there have been two posts by women on bad results from receiving anal sex. In a large city emergency room, they are seen quite commonly.
