Over the history of humankind there have been various reasons believed to make stronger and healthier from abstaining from sex. None of them have ever been medically sustained.
You are correct in that semen is rich in protein and a variety of nutrients. This is to sustain the sperm and give them a good start. The amount that would be reabsorbed into the man's body from not ejaculating is too small to make any real difference. Many of them break down and become other innocuous compounds before they can be reabsorbed. Waste your assets, guys, it makes no difference.
