Good observations, fun. If you rethink god-knows-how-many posts here, more women complain of reduced libido than any other aspect of the pill. If you extend this to the longer term hormonal systems (shot, implants), you will find even more. The single most common complaint in my surgery, about bcp, is, "I just do not feel much like it any more."

All this is simply anecdotal, not scientific, but it all points in the same direction. I have as yet to hear a woman say, "I just cannot get enough since going on the pill." I do push the ring (although NHC does not supply it) because it puts less hormone in the body and also feel that the IUD is greatly underrated. The IUD without hormones should have no effect on this.
