Some beliefs are worth all you can give to them - nurturing your child for example. Others...not so much.
Celibacy and abstinence serve no purpose. If carried out by all believers, you end up with no believers. Hense this one little loophole left open. A way to have your cake and eat it too.

If monogamy during marriage, with abstinence before marriage were both practiced by every one, STD's would not be here.
I don't practice life-long abstinence. I'd go crazy, I get so horny sometimes (my bf and I have foreplay which takes care of that). If everyone did practice lifelong abstinence, that would be stupid because, yes, none of us would be here.
The monumental difference between me and the vast number of people who thought Columbus was an idiot is that I, like Columbus, know the world is round. What I am actually doing is preparing for my expedition so I am ready for where the ocean waters of my life lead me. Also, I know more than Columbus because when I 'land,' I'm going to know where I am instead of thinking I'm in Asia.
Thank God you were banned. You are not an asset to this forum. (To all those reading this, I know EvilEvilKitten can't read it. I just wanted to say that. ^_^)
