I believe the answer to this is two-fold; first, getting Mr. Webster's definition for the word "addiction"; second, as mentioned before--does viewing or reading interfere with daily obligations, tasks, work, play, etc? If so, then you quite possibly have an addiction. If you do not have to watch or read and can walk away at any time and are using the information for arousal purposes or learning, and/or have a healthy curiosity, then, no.
