I grew up on homemade venison jerky. Unfortunately, nobody in my generation hunts so, I'm resigned to using beef. Now, the Morton company is either not making their "Sugar Cure" product or it just isn't being stocked at the local feed stores, so the ol' family recipe can no longer be used if the product has been discontinued.
I'm an Eclectic Protestant so cannot "convert" any other meat; however, I love buffalo, so maybe I can have someone in the meat department of the local grocery slice it up for me.
