I haven't found the cultures that different because I'm the US visiting the UK and American women have a rep: fast, dangerous, and expensive. Most men, UK or US, tend toward diffidence when it is me.
But frankly, I was rather shocked at how UK boys treated UK girls! Name calling. Expecting her to serve him. Ordering her about in small ways.
