My own personal Christian understanding of God is that He is a forgiving and loving God. There's nothing wrong with curiosity, and I personally don't believe any sexual lifestyle choice is 'wrong' or 'sinful'.
At the end of the day, you're a human being, with all your good and bad qualities, and you got curious. The key here is going to be forgiving YOURSELF. I only say that because it appears you're having some difficulty doing that.
