I don't see the cum-on-face thing as degrading, unless it's something she doesn't like and he insists on doing it anyway. The important thing is sensing your partner's boundaries and not forcing something on them that they didn't want.
It's no more "gross" than anything else about sex.
I personally am all for it. The more often and the bigger volumes I can make him come, the bigger the turn-on for me.
