Fairness and mutual respect should ALWAYS be part of the deal and if you do not get it - to hell with being intimidated - drop him and walk away. IF you stay - he will lose all respect for you and his treatment of you will only get worse each time to give him a 'free pass'. BTW and vice versa - if you treat him badly expect him to be gone.
