It was rightly stickied. Neediness and desperation are the biggest enemies of a man looking for a woman and the most potent attraction killers. The reason why it afflicts young men is that they have usually less choice and options than young women.
The only way to keep neediness at bay is to improve yourself so that you have equal choice and options than women have. In other words, to attract the woman you want, you've got to learn to be good with women in general.
