> My bf and i are thinking about having sex soon we're gona use condoms 1st few times(I'm currently on the pill) but
English is an interesting albeit complex language compared to others in the world. For example, "but" means forget everything I just said before and now listen to what I have to say.
My question for you is if you are "gona use condoms 1st few times", and I gather from this comment--not later, why use them in the first place? Birth control is not a sometimes thing, especially the younger a couple is.
* Contraceptives protect the individual involved. If you do not want to become pregnant, use b/c or some other highly reliable form of contraception.
* If a guy is not prepared to become a father then he must wear a condom.
* Because pregnancies are more likely the younger a couple is, the two of you should also use a third form like a spermicide as backup to the other two.
This being the case, each of you must take responsibility for your own future and not rely upon the other person. Using a condom this week and not next is tempting fate and fooling Mother Nature. If you are going to participate in adult activities, then you must act responsibly all the time, not just some of the time or for the 1st few times. You must also plan what you are both going to do should you become pregnant. You must think about the consequences of your actions. There is an article on this topic listed in the Index and I recommend reading it.
Here's the deal:
* Anytime a penis is pointed in the general direction of your lower body, there is a chance that you can become pregnant--b/c or not.
* Think of this as playing a version of Russian Roulette only with a fully loaded cannon instead of a six shooter with one bullet in the cylinder.
* Sporadic use of contraceptives and relying upon your partner is irresponsible.
