Please understand that if the girl is a virgin her first time or two might not result in an orgasm for her because of the following reasons.
First, she has to be orgasmic and many teenagers and young adults have not made the transition. Females of the species are not as driven to masturbate as guys so learning is a conscious effort and often later in life.
Second, there is enough going on between you that she might very well be distracted and cannot focus.
If she is a virgin, there may be some discomfort with first time intercourse, whether her hymen is (partially) intact or not.
Third, unless and until she learns to communicate with you about how to best stimulate her and for what she needs now/next, your chances of getting it right are hit and miss. Be this as it may, learning how to touch and where is also a matter of becoming familiar with the female anatomy by touch.
There are two forms of communication--verbal and non-verbal. Both have been explained in at least one of the articles. Reading her signals about how she is responding to your caresses is often a matter of being familiar with her as a person. This takes practice.
As mentioned, above, your goal should be to make the adventure fun as well as pleasurable, and also worth repeating even if things do not go exactly as hoped for. This bears repeating: "explore and learn together"; although, if all you want to do is lose your virginity, well then... I'd still make the experience worth the woman's time.
That you want to wait for Ms. Right to enter your world is fine. Work up a good relationship, first and foremost, learn how to make love to her mind, learn how to make out with your bodies, then correct things as you progress each time.
Yes, you are on the right track.
