Just to clarify, did you have sex with him twice or just once?
It depends on the guy himself really. I don't necessarily think you have screwed up your chances. Just be honest with him & your feelings, if your confused about them then tell him. But don't hook up or have sex with him. If you want to start from scratch then start from scratch & tell him thats what you want to do.
Explain your feelings to him. If he generally likes you, then go on a first date. Kiss, if you want. Don't have sex. Do what you would allow yourself to do on a first date with anyone else. Then if he likes you, and truly likes you, he wont expect you to have sex again. If he makes you feel like you should be having sex, then you know he just sees you as a 'fuck buddy'. So then it's up to you.
