Eh, while I'm sure this is the case in some circumstances, I am totally certain it is not the case in most circumstances in my neck of the woods. I'm sure it's especially the case where a sex worker puts up her own website, answers her own mail and calls, makes appointments, sets up electronic payment arrangements and so forth.
A sex worker locked away in some hotel room is one thing. A sex worker freely advertising on the web or working out of a brother where she comes and goes as she pleases (except she has to show up for work just like anyone else) who's paid 200 - 300 per hour, drives an awesome car (etc. etc. etc.), I rather doubt that she doesn't want to be there making all that money.
