Question Question concerning genital warts...

HI!!
At a gynecology exam a year ago, my doctor informed that I had genital warts. I ended up moving and never having them treated (mostly because I didn't see or feel any), but after my most recent exam the doctor didn't mention anything about them. This might sound a little crazy, but there is a single wart on the inside of my labia and its extremely small. I read a report for treating them yourself with castor oil and baking soda... My question is, would it be extremely stupid to use the salicylic acid that is used on common warts on my one genital wart? It seems safe to me, but want to make sure before actually applying the acid to it.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks for any help!!
