Are you kidding me? You REALLY need to man up. Who cares if you work with her, there's no coworker code that stops one from screwing over another.
We don't care that you moved on, that has nothing to do with it. Telling her you were uncomfortable doing it does nothing either.
It's the fact that out of ALL the people in her life, out of getting them herself, she came to the guy whose on the far sidelines of her life, who she doesn't really have any connection with. THAT is what we're concerned with. That she would pass over many many many other sources just to get to you,,to lend her money. WHY?
