The other reason is the little deposit left behind. There is some great psychological satisfaction in performing the basic biological function of receiving the semen. As maddening as the drainage can be, I feel more fulfilled having received it.
That said, as a young woman there was always a condom and vaginal spermicide. Safety trumps the satisfaction.
