Ask him what he likes. Also, read up on the prostate . . . where's it's located, how to GENTLY massage it and so on. It's not very far in, usually around 2". As far as "dirt", it depends on when he last vacated his bowels. Most of the time no, but again I recommend a condom over the finger.
